With his entrepreneur grandfather as a huge inspiration, Marco Campos knew upon entering the energy industry as an engineer that he wanted to make a difference – in the field and in the community. Despite having a great job and family to support, he took the risk by creating Campos EPC, providing engineering design, consulting services, integrity management and turnkey solutions.
His passion for philanthropy, particularly in support of women and under-represented minorities pursuing STEM-related fields, drove him to provide opportunities for diverse groups.
Those opportunities are what the Southern Company Gas supplier diversity program strives to enhance for the many diverse and minority-owned businesses throughout our communities by way of mentoring and developmental support, with the goal of helping them prosper and reach long-term sustainability.
